31 Day Halloween Challenge! Day 13 and 14

13. Best pumpkin carving you’ve done

Last year I did a really cool cat with a skeleton. It was just from one of those pumpkin masters carving kits you can buy at Target or whatever, but it looked awesome and just about everyone who came to the door mentioned how much they loved it! This one:

14. Do you believe in ghosts/spirits?

Totally. Physics says that energy can’t be destroyed, only transformed, so where does the energy we consist of go when we die? For the most part, I like to think our energy goes back out into the universe, into the stars, or other planets or whatever, but maybe sometimes it sticks around. So I don’t believe in physical manifestations, like seeing a real person (though sometimes I think I do), but just that feeling of someone being there. I think that’s the most believable, scientifically speaking. Though I’d like to believe in magic and traditional “ghost” ghosts.

Day 13 - Favorite Rocky Horror Picture Show song.

Day 14 - Ideal Halloween costume.

There are a few I’ve always wanted to do! Isolde’s wedding costume from Tristan & Isolde - it’s a cheesy movie, but a beautiful costume, and I could just say I’m Isolde, and not have to specify. And then I really like some of the multiplayer costumes from Assassin’s Creed - the thief, the smuggler, the vanguard, and the thespian. Or HBIC Lucretia from Spartacus (with that exact costume), Rogue from the X-Men in her newest hooded costume, John Marston from Red Dead Redemption, or Little Red Riding Hood but with a costume like Anna Paquin’s in Trick R Treat, Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra (the Barbie had the best view of the costume), or the Egyptian Queen Barbie (I got her when I was 10 for Christmas, I hate Barbies but she’s awesome)… ugh, there are too many! I have so many Halloween costume dreams haha

I Love Spartacus

bookbitten:

Ilithyia: (amused) I thought I was in the presence of a proper Roman woman?

Lucretia:‘Proper’ is a word forged by men who would seek to enslave us with it.
