30 Day Comic Book Challenge
Day 7: Favourite Comic Couple
Gambit & Rogue. While there were are a few I could have chosen such as Emma/Scott, Angel/Psylocke, Batman/Catwoman and the runner up Joker/ Harley, I went with the first that came to mind and the one that never left my process. Remy & Rogue are ment to be all they need is for Magneto to go away. :)
I love Wolverine+Domino, they’re my OTP personally. I always liked Domino more than Jean, Mariko, Storm, or any of the many other lol There’s just something about them!

SPOILERS: This contains spoilers for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Q: What’s the deal with Nate, Elena, and the rings? Did they get engaged?
A: They actually got married after the events of Among Thieves. The revelation is perhaps a little subtle, but it’s there: when Nate says “You’re still wearing it” (referring to her ring), Elena’s blunt response to Nate’s observation (“It helps in this part of the world. Seriously, don’t flatter yourself.”) makes it clear that it is a wedding band, which she uses to deter aspirant suitors. The ensuing conversation perhaps best indicates why the marriage is on hiatus.
Elena: I see you’re still wearing yours.
Nate: What?
Elena gestures to indicate Francis Drake’s rings hanging on the cord around his neck.
Nate: Oh, oh. Yeah.
Elena: That’s what this is all about, isn’t it?
Nate: You don’t understand. I finally proved it. Drake lied about his route through the East Indies. Four hundred years ago, he came here.
Elena: Why, Nate?
Nate: That’s what I came here to find out.
Elena: No, I mean why this obsession?
Though wealth eludes him at the conclusion of Drake’s Fortune and Among Thieves, Nate on both occasions gains a treasure of great value in Elena…and, on both occasions, he blows it, walking out when his phobia of commitment drives the couple apart. Elena perhaps best understands Nate’s existential fear: he’s afraid of admitting who he really is, and almost obsessively takes refuge in an identity that doesn’t truly belong to him.
The motto on Drake’s ring has defined Nate’s entire life; there’s a sense that he has always walked backwards into his future, defined by his troubled childhood. In the closing cinematic, however, his reaction to his wedding band when Sully produces it - so much like the one belonging to Sir Francis, but lacking the motto; a blank slate - perhaps suggests that it might finally be “Nate” and not “Drake” who accompanies his closest friend and wife to the plane before the closing credits roll.
From the Q&A in the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception strategy guide
ok, so I’m happy now, but if they make an Uncharted 4 - Nathan and Elena best have had a happily ever after ending!

30 Day Video Game Challenge - Day 16
Day 16 - Game with the best cut scenes.
Uncharted 2 - it’s such a cinematic game, nearly seamlessly blending amazing cutscenes with amazing gameplay. ok, perhaps not amazing cutscenes, but definitely entertaining and most of the time, funny, and definitely the best I’ve seen so far. Love it! My favorite (spoiler for end of Uncharted 2):
OTP (yes, I know I’ve said it before):

Hey, you know that whole friends thing? You were right, I don’t think I ever really had any. But I do now. And so do you.
i just love this movie so much
omg me too! I usually loathe romances, but I’d be lying if I said I hated this. In fact it’s one of my favorite movies, and when it first came out I had to dl it because it didn’t come out in my area, and I must’ve watched it a hundred times until it came out on dvd and I could finally buy. Watch it at least once a month now. I know I’ve never stanned for it publicly (my friends irl and my family know how much I love it though haha), but hot damn I love it so so much. /rave
